A meeting of the Executive Committee of PTA was held on 26th July 2020 online at 11.00 am on google meet.

- The principal, Ms Geeta Gangwani, chaired the meeting.
- Minutes of the last meeting of PTA executive body were read and confirmed.
- Financial matters related to fee for Quarter I and Quarter II were considered in the meeting. Principal apprised the executive body that the fee collected in the session 2020-21 (I quarter) included only tuition fee as per DOE orders and collection of all other fee component like annual charges, activity fee, development fee, science fee, computer aided learning fee and transport fee remained suspended.
- Principal shared her concern regarding the financial constraint on school fund, activity fund and transport fund. The school has to bear the cost of maintaining school building in terms of electricity, water, housekeeping and security apart from payment of salaries to teaching & non-teaching staff including drivers & conductors on school rolls. Works like the medical room renovation, development of playfield, installation of two RO plants etc. has been undertaken for development of campus even under the lockdown period.
- Principal apprised the members that all possible measures have been taken to curtail the expenditure and only essential expenditure is being incurred.
- It was further informed that the school shall continue to follow the fee structure of the academic session 2019-2020 for II quarter (2020-21). However, Annual charges will be collected in two instalments along with fee for quarter II & III. Development fee for the session will be divided in three instalments and will be charged with fee for Quarter II.III & IV. No other fee like Computer fee/Science Fee/Activity fee/ Computer aided learning fee will be charged. The members welcomed the decision of the school to collect Annual fee & Development charges in instalments.
- Principal also informed the members about the upcoming assessment pattern to be followed by school in the month of August 2020. She shared the tentative plan for Half Yearly Exam 2020 to be conducted in September. She stated that the exam may include more parent involvement instead of Proctor and may possibly include Open book questions.
- The Vice Principal also proposed a plan for the celebration of Independence Day using virtual platforms. She further drew attention towards the yearly ritual of felicitation of meritorious students of class X and XII on Independence Day. The parents suggested to felicitate students with a letter of appreciation and a small token that may be delivered to student’s residence via e-commerce services. A total of 105 students (38 class X and 67 class XII) will be felicitated.
- Members after deliberation agreed to utilize a part of PTA fund for the following -
- Online teacher training programme
- Half fee concessions to students of single parents
- Sponsoring salary of IT trained computer attendant
- The efforts of the school management, principal & staff in conducting the virtual school on G Suite & CRISP, regular reforms planned from time to time and the plethora of online competitions & activities offered to students were highly appreciated by all members present.
- The PTA executive body members appreciated the drafting of SOP for reopening of school meticulously prepared by Principals of BBPS units.
- The meeting ended with a vote of thanks to the chair.

- The principal, Ms Geeta Gangwani, chaired the meeting.
- The principal shared the preparedness of the school for combating the pandemic and the modus operandi adopted to operate the school during lockdown.
- The efforts of the school management, principal & staff in conducting a virtual school on G Suite & CRISP, safe platforms for online teaching, were highly appreciated by all the members present.
- The members were informed about the planned way in which the co-curricular activities were incorporated in the school curriculum by holding virtual classes on Yoga, Mass PT and visual & performing arts. Special days like Earth Day, Mother's Day etc were also celebrated with a huge participation by the students in a virtual mode. Online competitions, club activities, Classes on AI, counselling sessions etc have been organised to constructively engage students. Online PTMs have been highly appreciated by parent community. Special reference was made to the successful conduct of online compartment exam and online stream allocation for class XI. The members applauded the structured planning with which the online teaching modules are being conducted.
- The Vice Principal and HMs also shared the special features of the online teaching in their respective departments.
- The Principal informed the PTA members that as per DOE guidelines, parents will be required to pay only Tuition fee as per fee structure of session 2019-2020 on monthly basis. Willing parents may also pay on quarterly basis. The collection of Annual charges, Development Fee, Activity Fee etc is being deferred till the lockdown period is over. No transport fee is being charged for the lockdown period. Parents can pay online through Parent Portal on school website, details of which have been circulated to all.
- The members also inquired about preparedness for reopening of schools. The Principal informed that detailed Guidelines on safe reopening of schools is being worked out.
