SCHOOL POLICY FOR PROMOTING INNOVATION
Bal Bharati Public School, Rohini fosters a dynamic teaching-learning methodology that cultivates a culture of innovation. Encouraging experimentation, the school is committed to embracing change by proactively exploring new ideas and establishing innovation as a norm. The principal will lead this vision by instilling a spirit of innovation among teachers and students, fostering a school culture that is agile, flexible, and adaptable—while serving as an innovator herself.
Innovation influences various aspects of the school ecosystem, including teaching-learning practices, classroom design, educational technologies, learning spaces (both physical and virtual), and community partnerships. These innovations may be implemented at both individual and institutional levels, with broader ‘system innovations’ introduced to drive holistic transformation. While innovation is driven by the need to solve problems, good practices may lead to solutions organically, whereas best practices focus on achieving excellence and setting benchmarks.

SCHOOL INNOVATION CELL (SIC) –BBPSRH
Bal Bharati Public School, Rohini established a School Innovation Council in the academic year 2023-24. The Program aims to foster the culture of Innovation, Ideation, Creativity, Design Thinking and Entrepreneurship, sensitize students to the needs of society and motivate them to look for their plausible solutions, and thus design inclusive innovations.
Under the School Innovation Council multi-dimensional activities are conducted, which are both SIC driven and School Driven. The SIC activities are conducted as per the calendar provided by MoE. The school driven activities include organizing a variety of workshops and sessions by leading Educationalists, School Alumni as well as by successful Entrepreneurs having their own startups. The students also participate in School Innovation Challenge, wherein they contribute ideas, develop prototypes, and come up with Business plans to pitch their ideas. Besides students are also taken for field visits to nearby incubation centers to give them an opportunity to learn about the emerging start-ups. The students are also a part of another initiative BBPSRH SHARKS wherein students make a healthy beverage/snack to be sold in school, set up stalls, purchase raw materials, develop business plan, do marketing to sell their product, make financial projects and do the analysis of the profit margins, thereby progressing as budding entrepreneurs.
